The following is a list of our upcoming educational seminars presented by Steven A. Kass, Esq. 2010 Schedule

February 22, 2010 from 8:30am-4:30pm. Mr. Kass was selected by the National Business Institute to present to attorneys, accountants and other professionals on the topic of "Trust Administration". The seminar was designed by NBI, which charges a fee to attendees. Continuing Education Credit is provided. For more information or to register, call NBI at 800-930-6182.

April 12, 2010 from 6:30-8:30pm. This seminar will introduce consumers to Elder Law and Estate Planning, including planning documents and techniques for Asset Preservation when faced with Long Term Care Needs. The seminar is sponsored through the West Babylon Adult Education Department. The program collects a $10 nominal fee; Mr. Kass waived his fee participation so all monies may be used for the school district. Registration is through the West Babylon Adult Education Department at 631-321-3005 ext 400 where "The Need for Education Never Ends".

April 19, 2010 from 6:30-8:30pm. This seminar will focus on Special Needs Planning, and is geared to introduce persons with special needs and their loved ones as to governmental entitlements, the use of Advance Directives, Guardianships and intergenerational planning. The seminar is sponsored through the West Babylon Adult Education Department. The program collects a $10 nominal fee; Mr. Kass waived his fee participation so all monies may be used for the school district. Registration is through the West Babylon Adult Education Department at 631-321-3005 ext 400 where "The Need for Education Never Ends".

May 27, 2010 from 8:00pm-9:00pm. Mr. Kass will speak at Temple Beth-El of Bellmore (
http://tbebellmore.org/) on the topics of Intestacy, Wills and Trusts.

September 22, 2010 (Time to be Announced).  Mr. Kass was selected by Suffolk Academy of Law (the teaching division of the Suffolk Bar Association) to speak to attorneys and other registrants on the topic of Revocable Trusts.  Registration may be made through the Academy at 631-234-5511.  The website for the Suffolk County Bar Association is www.SCBA.org.  

On Sunday, September 26, 2010, Steven A. October 27, 2010 from 8:00-9:30pm. This seminar at Temple Beth-El of Bellmore will focus on Elder Law and Estate Planning.

December 2, 2010 at 7:30pm at Wheatley High School.  This seminar is for Don't Move Away, Inc., a grass-roots organization of local residents, Don't Move Away seeks to provide its members - 55 and older - with "the practical means and confidence to age in place."   Mr. Kass will present with Sy Buckner, RFC, CLTC, CFS of Buckner Financial Services.  Mr. Kass will present as to Elder Care Issues, and Mr. Buckner will present on Long Term Care Insurance options.
