Mature Resources – Mature Resources is a portal website, with a free national ezine and business directory. It specializes in enriching the lives and needs of Baby Boomers through Seniors. Each monthly issue is content-rich with articles on current affairs; financial planning; health and wellness; home and leisure; and an extensive section called Senior Focus. Medicare – The Federal government’s site on Medicare benefits. The site also includes a link to get information about nursing homes. The Official website is at www.medicare.gov.

Medicare Rights Center – This is a non-profit organization that helps Medicare beneficiaries understand their benefits and rights under the Medicare program. The Official website is at www.medicarerights.org .

Medigap Insurance– Information about Medicare Supplemental Insurance, including information about the standardized policies and their benefits. The New York State www.hiicap.state.ny.us/mgap/index.htm.

NYS Department of Unclaimed Funds – Check here for unclaimed funds. Since this site is only related to funds held by NYS, you should check other States’ sites if you believe that you have unclaimed monies in other States.

NYS Nursing Homes – Click to locate NYS nursing homes, to review facility characteristics and obtain review Surveys. Sponsored by the NYS Department of Health.

NYS Office on Aging– Serving Older New Yorkers and their Families.

Savings Bond Wizard – Click here to obtain an easy to use program from Treasury Direct, that allows you to imput information about your U.S. Savings Bonds to get a report as to the current value of the bonds, including the interest. Social Security – The official site of the Social Security Administration. You can check benefits and even order a Social Security Card from the site.
